Vitamix One Personal Blender
The Vitamix S Series is a newer style completely different from the Legacy Series, the Explorian Series and the NEW Vitamix Ascent Series. The Vitamix Personal Blender Series focus is for quick on the go recipes, not meant for heavy loads of ingredients. It is a small compact blender which you can put into the same category as a NutriBullet blender, only used for single servings.
The Vitamix Personal Blender has a small 32 ounce container with a narrow base. It’s blade design is similar to the other Vitamix blenders but the container on the Personal Blender is much smaller and can’t fit many ingredients. It comes with a tamper so you are able to push ingredients down into the blades while the blender is running same as the other Vitamix blender models, but if you overload the blender container it can be difficult to push the ingredients down because it has a narrow base.
The Dial on the front works the same as the other Vitamix blender models; you can increase and decrease the speed by turning the knob and start the blender by pushing the knob.
Vitamix One Personal Blender – Downsides
Small Container
The Container the Vitamix Personal Blender comes with is meant for a single serving. It’s not capable of blending more than one smoothie at a time. It’s good for a single person if you’re living on your own, but if you have a family or want to entertain you’ll want a bigger blender.
Over loading the container
We’ve done some tests with the Vitamix Personal blender and compared it to the Legacy Series blender models and we noticed that the Vitamix Personal Blender was not able to blend the ingredients in some cases when the container was overloaded. We had trouble pushing the ingredients down and getting the blade to blend them. The design of the container has a narrow base and the ingredients have trouble getting to the bottom if the container is overloaded. That is the main problem; otherwise it’s a cute little blender.
Vitamix One Personal Blender – Upsides
Personal Blender – Cleaning
Though the Vitamix Personal Blender is small, it’s easy to clean because similar to a NutriBullet Blender, you are able to unscrew the base where the blade is and carefully clean and rinse the gunk off under the blades. The blades are sharp but it’s not a big problem. The container is also easy to reach into once the blade is off.
Personal Blender – The Tamper
Sometimes ingredients get stuck while blending but with the Vitamix Tamper you can push ingredients into the blades while the blender is running. No matter what ingredients you put into the blender and no mater which order you put them in, you can use the tamper to push the ingredients down into the blades, helps with thicker recipes like nut butter and batters.
Personal Blender – Compact Design
It’s a small blender, not like it’s big brothers. It doesn’t take up hardly any space in the kitchen. You can squeeze it between appliances on the counter or put it in the corner. Better it be on the counter rather than in the cabinets, very convenient to have.
Personal blender – Warranty
The Vitamix Personal Blender comes with a 5 year warranty and also has an option to get an extended warranty which will cover the jar, blade, and blender base. You’ll have to ship the broken part back to Vitamix and they will replace it for free and ship it back to you.
