Vitamix Quiet One

The Vitamix Quiet One commercial blender emits less sound waves and causes less vibrations than your regular Vitamix blender. It’s due to it’s larger base and twist-lock sound enclosure, you can comfortably talk to someone while the blender is running and clearly hear what they are saying. It’s the perfect blender for commercial restaurants and juice shops. You’ll see the Vitamix Quiet one at Starbucks a lot, they love the quiet one blender. These are more expensive blender models but are worth the money if you own a juice shop or restaurant or if you have a very large kitchen and want a quiet blender.

Vitamix Quiet One – Controls and Design

The Vitamix Quiet One has a durable and reliable Vitamix blender design but with more features on its display and more power in its motor. 34 pre programmable automatic features for timed cycles gives you more versatility for different blends and a more enhanced 3 hp motor gives you extra blending power. There are 6 pre programmed features already set in but you can RE Program those features with one of the other featured cycles.

The Quiet One has a sturdy design with a weight of 20 pounds and a height of 18 inches. It’s larger heavier size makes it harder to move around and more stable on the counter, it’s better to keep it in an open space unless you have tall cabinets.

Vitamix Quiet One – Jars and Blades

The Quiet One uses a different container than other Vitamix blender models. It’s container is similar to the Blendtec Wildside Jar where the dull 2 blade design slices and dices through your produce. This is an easy to clean design, you can comfortably reach your hand under the blades, much easier to clean than 4 blade designs. The Vitamix Quiet One Advanced Blending Container can fit 48oz, but you are not limited to using this container, you can purchase any of the Vitamix Containers and put it on the Vitamix Quiet One blender. Our favorite Vitamix Container is the Low Profile Container.

Vitamix Quiet One – Downsides

The large size of the Vitamix Quiet one takes up more space on the counter than the usual Vitamix blenders, and it’s much taller. Unless you have a very large Kitchen you might want to stick to a normal sized Vitamix blender. It’s also very heavy, which is good because it doesn’t move around when it runs. Again, primarily this blender is made to be a commercial blender for juice shops.  

Vitamix Quiet One – Upsides

It’s really quiet and has more features on it’s display to choose from than other Vitamix blender models. It uses a specially constructed container specifically for juice shops and restaurants, but you can also fit other Vitamix Containers onto the base of the Quiet One. You can get the blender base wet and it won’t damage the controls; furthermore, it’s heavy weight rests nice and sturdy on the counter, won’t move around at all when blending tougher ingredients.

Vitamix Quiet One – Specs

Just to give you an idea of how big and wide the Vitamix Quiet One is, it’s exactly 45.7cm tall, 21.6cm wide, and 27.2cm deep. It has a very powerful 3hp motor with a total output of 220-240Volts, 50/60hz, and between 1300 – 1550 watts, make sure your using a dedicated outlet for the Vitamix Quiet One blender as it does draw more electricity. It weighs 20 Pounds, that’s pretty heavy.

What Recipes Can I Make?

Great for ACAI Bowls, smoothies, juices and much more. Liquify ingredients into a juice consistency if you wish, the Vitamix Quiet One is a great appliance for home use or perfect for juice shops and restaurants, and many chiefs can’t live with out their Vitamix blenders at their restaurants. It’s a must have.

Once you learn how to use the Quiet One blender you will understand that its versatily will allow you to blend just about any recipe you can think of; the blender comes with a cook book with lots of ice cream recipes, dips, batters, juices, smoothies, soup recipes, and many more.

Warranty

When you receive the Vitamix blender you will find a warranty registration card inside the box, fill it out and mail it to Vitamix, or call 1 440 782 2450(International) or 800 886 5235(domestic) and speak to a customer service agent about the warranty. Once registered the motor is backed by a three-year component warranty with one year on labor. The Vitamix container is backed by a 1 year warranty. 

To Conclude

This is a great commercial blender but it is primarily intended for commercial juice shops, smoothie shops, and restaurants, and is not really meant for home use. But… you can use it at home but just make sure you have a very large kitchen area with a lot of space because it is a large appliance. Great overall product, you will often see it at your local Starbucks or coffee shop.
